I've been sexually assaulted...

If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted...

1. Stay safe. If you are in immediate danger or worried about your safety, call University Police at 973-655-5222.

2. Trust yourself. If someone has assaulted you or is abusing you it can be hard to feel confident about what to do next. Remember it is never okay for someone to assault or abuse you for any reason.

3. Talk. Find someone you can talk to like a friend, family member, or medical/mental health professional.

4. Know your resources. MSU Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) provides survivor-centered, compassionate, comprehensive services directly on campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the year.

For SART services, contact University Police at 973-655-5222 or University Health Center at 973-655-3459.
